A few years BEFORE meeting chaz, alys had an romantic encounter with zio.
of course, he wasn't the evil magician that he is/was now.
one thing led to another and bam! there was a beutiful baby boy.
well, zio became involved with his cult, so alys left with the kid.
zio got mad and kidnapped the kid
he offered the kid as a sacrifice to his lord, dark force
dark force possesed the kid, but was unimpressed by the frail body
the answer to this problem: dark forced hyper-aged the body.
in conclusion you have this possesed guy walking around.
hmmm...sounds like seth.
